WHEN TO REPOT YOUR KOKEDAMA

STEP-BY-STEP

REPOTTING STEPS

  1. Find a Pot: Choose a pot that is roughly 1/2" wider in circumference than the moss ball.
  2. Add Potting Soil: Fill the bottom of the pot with potting soil. Add enough soil so that when the ball is placed in the pot, the top of the ball sits slightly above the top of the pot.
  3. Place the Ball: Place the entire ball (string and moss included) into the pot and add soil around it.
  4. Soil Level: Ensure the top of the ball sits 1/2" above the soil line.
  5. Water and Adjust: Water the plant and add additional soil if needed to maintain the proper soil level.
