From the Bloomist x NYBG collection, the Garden Essentials Set includes a Root Trowel, Cultivator, and traditional-style Trowel, all constructed of hand-forged and tempered boron steel by blacksmiths in the Netherlands with roots going back generations. Each is fitted with an ash hardwood handle and engraved with the Bloomist x NYBG mark. The three garden tools cover the core work of planting and soil care: a Root Trowel for deep digging and transplanting in confined spaces, a Cultivator for breaking up soil and aerating, and a Trowel for planting, digging, and weeding.

NYBG's horticulturists tend 250 acres in the Bronx, planting, propagating, and maintaining one of the most significant living plant collections in the world.
