ABOUT STAR BRIGHT FARM

Founded by husband-and-wife team, Mark Elmore and Helen Norman, Star Bright Farm is as much a concept and driving philosophy as it is a physical place. Twenty-seven years ago, the couple discovered and purchased a crumbling farm in Maryland with the dream of raising certified organic crops and caring for the land. They leased land to Helen’s brother to grow organic vegetables that he sold at the local farmer’s market, and this inspired their young son Peter to farm the land.
