The Weavers Behind It

The Cord Stripe is woven in a women-led, family-run atelier where foot pedal loom weaving has been the primary craft for generations. The raised cord lines are integrated directly into the base during the weaving process, requiring the weaver to manage the raised element and the flat base simultaneously across the full width. Each piece comes out differently in cord spacing and tone.
