Chunky Loop Oversized Throw Pillows

The Chunky Loop Wool Throw Pillow is an oversized wool pillow in a deep natural charcoal, built from thick hand-spun loops that give it real weight and a surface with visible depth. The grey is the fleece's own color, not dye, so that the tone won't fade. Feather insert included.

In Small Batches

Produced a few at a time in a women-led, family-run studio, each pillow takes days of hand work on the loom. Because the charcoal comes from undyed wool on hand, the exact shade varies slightly between batches; no two are identical.

A Dark Tone For Cohesion

At 25" square, it anchors a sofa or bed and brings a cream, linen, and wood palette together without adding a competing color. The chunky loops vary with greys up close, giving texture and dimension that a flat solid can't. It pairs naturally with the Scattered Pom Pom Wool Quilt.

Meet the Maker

These pieces are made in women-led, family-run studios across the American Southwest and central Mexico, where foot-pedal loom weaving has been the primary craft for generations. Each piece is physically woven in the mountain communities of central Mexico by hand using natural wool sourced and spun locally, with no synthetic fibers and no dyes introduced at any point in the process. The weavers bring years of daily practice to each piece, the techniques passed within families rather than learned from instruction. What arrives is the work of one set of hands, from raw fiber to finished textile.

Product Care

Hand wash in room temperature water, neutral soap, carefully remove excess water, and lay flat to dry in the shade.
