Dried broom corn (Sorghum vulgare)
Broom Corn isn’t corn at all but instead a grain plant called sorghum that is used in the making of traditional brooms. It looks much like corn when it grows but instead of corn ears it produces natural red-orange seed pod heads atop straw broom style stalks. Dried Broom Corn looks stunning en masse or as part of other dried arrangements.
Material: Handpicked botanical (dried broom corn)
Please note: Due to the natural state of dried botanicals like this dried broom corn, variation and breakage may occur. Sizing is approximate. (You can’t measure nature.)

- branch bend
The quality is great and it looks so elegant in any vase adding a touch of warmth. Only thing is be sure not to move it around a lot as it does shed.
Soft deep hue
The color is so beautiful and rich in person but with a soft enough hue not to read “red”. Almost a red neutral. I bought several of these and combined them for a very bushy look with slight branch bend at the end. They look great in a widemouth stone pot. Extremely well preserved, and no droppings or shedding. Like everything at Bloomist these are high quality beauties.
