Horizontal bands of thick looped fringe cover the full face of the Looped Wool Throw Pillow, each row formed from 100% hand-spun wool with no dye applied at any stage. The looped construction gives the pillow a three-dimensional surface, the rows of loops standing above the base rather than lying against it. It arrives with its feather insert, ready to set out.

A Surface That Softens

The looped surface softens with handling, the wool fibers becoming softer and more pliable the more they are handled. The undyed cream deepens to a richer tone over time as the fiber settles in.

Woven One Band at a Time

Each cover is made on a traditional foot pedal loom in a small family workshop in the mountains of Mexico, the loop work built up by hand, one row after another by women who have run these looms for years. Set against raw linen or bare wood, the undyed cream holds its own without competing.
