Three wide vertical panels define the face of the Kimura Heirloom Throw Pillow, each running the full height of the 23" x 11" lumbar format, woven in Peru from superfine alpaca and undyed Peruvian cotton. At 2.0 lbs with the insert, the color blocks register clearly at room distance, the pillow holding its form on the bed or sofa through daily use.

How the Colorways Read

Earth runs ivory on the left, warm camel on the right, with a center block moving through taupe into near-black. All tones except the near-black come directly from the raw fleece with no dye applied.

Forest places ivory against warm taupe-brown, a deep forest green occupying the center panel. All tones except the forest green are naturally occurring in the fleece. Where each panel meets its neighbor, the colors ease into each other at the edge.

The Surface at This Scale

Superfine alpaca at 22.5 microns produces a brushed finish that reads differently across a wide color block, the surface shifting slightly in tone as the light moves across each panel. Press a hand flat against the Kimura's face and the fiber is soft against the palm, the brushed surface giving each panel a distinctly tactile quality.
