Hand-built in Holland to match RB73's fireplace construction standards, the BloX features robust 2mm CorTen steel construction that develops the same rich patina as your outdoor fireplace. The Beauty of CorTen Steel

RB73 storage solutions are built from CorTen steel, a 100% recyclable metal alloy developed by US Steel designed to age gracefully outdoors. Copper, silicon, nickel, and chromium are added to iron to create CorTen steel, a process that develops a protective rust-like patina that deepens over time, shifting from warm orange tones to a rich, earthy brown. This evolving surface doesn't weaken the structure—instead, it shields the storage unit from further corrosion, allowing it to withstand the elements season after season (CorTen steel lasts about 10x longer than regular steel).
