The SGI system ensures airflow is created close to the fireplace window, promoting the combustion process and keeping the window of the Quaruba exceptionally clean for you to enjoy over time with minimal upkeep.

The Beauty of CorTen Steel

RB73 fireplaces are built from CorTen steel, a 100% recyclable metal alloy developed by US Steel designed to age gracefully outdoors. Copper, silicon, nickel, and chromium are added to iron to create CorTen steel, which develops a protective rust-like patina that deepens over time, shifting from warm orange tones to a rich, earthy brown. This evolving surface doesn't weaken the structure. Instead, it shields the fireplace from further corrosion, allowing it to withstand the elements season after season (CorTen steel lasts about 10x longer than regular steel).
