Letting its natural form shine, the Reed Planter leaves the clay surface exposed, the warm earth tone sitting directly against the combed marks. Vertical lines read openly across the form, the texture visible in full without a finish.

The Clay and the Comb

Pressed into wet clay before firing, the marks sit permanently in the surface. Each pot fires slightly differently, the clay reading warmer or cooler depending on where it sat in the kiln. For the same form in charcoal, the Dark Wash finish is available as well.

Tall or Large

At 10" wide, the Large sits low on a console or shelf, the warm clay tone reading well at close range. Standing at 12.5" high, the Tall works upright on a floor, the combed surface visible from across a room. Find plants that suit each form in the botanicals collection.
