Pebble Weave Textured Throw Pillow

At 6 lbs with the insert, the Pebble Weave Wool Throw Pillow is covered in small hand-formed nubs across its full face. The weight comes from how much hand-spun wool the pebble construction uses during the weaving process. Woven from 100% natural hand-spun wool with no dye applied, it's sized at 19.5" square.

Light in Color, Not in Weight

The density keeps the pillow flat against the sofa back rather than sliding into the seat. Up close, the pebbled surface reads clearly; at a distance, it appears as a plain cream. 

Made in a Family Workshop 

It's made in the mountain communities of Mexico, in small family workshops where the pebble weave has been worked for generations. The wool is spun locally before it reaches the loom, each strand twisted by hand from raw fleece, which is what gives the nubs their rounded shape.

Meet the Maker

These pieces are made in women-led, family-run studios across the American Southwest and central Mexico, where foot-pedal loom weaving has been the primary craft for generations. Each piece is physically woven in the mountain communities of central Mexico by hand using natural wool sourced and spun locally, with no synthetic fibers and no dyes introduced at any point in the process. The weavers bring years of daily practice to each piece, the techniques passed within families rather than learned from instruction. What arrives is the work of one set of hands, from raw fiber to finished textile.

Product Care

Hand wash in room temperature water, neutral soap, carefully remove excess water, and lay flat to dry in the shade.
