Hand-thrown in Morocco from local clay and finished with tadelakt, an ancient limestone plaster sourced from the Marrakech Plateau, this black Moroccan vase has a deep charcoal tone and a natural sheen that shifts across its curved body. Available in three sizes, each piece carries its own subtle variations in form.

Ancient Material, Modern Form

One of Morocco's oldest finishing materials, tadelakt was traditionally used to waterproof hammams and riads. Applied and polished by rubbing, it compresses the clay into a stone-like finish. Cool and smooth to the touch, the surface feels dense and polished under the hand.

On the Mantel, On the Shelf

Grouped at varying heights on a mantel or shelf, the dark, rounded forms create a striking display even without anything in them. Fill one with dried stems or faux botanical branches, and the contrast between the dark body and the organic stems does the work. For fresh flowers, place a watertight container inside before adding water.
