Belgian Linen Flat Sheet, Woven for Generations

Over 160 years of Belgian weaving practice go into the Libeco Heritage Linen Flat Sheet, made from 100% organic Flemish flax by a family mill in Meulebeke. GOTS-certified and woven with a cool, breathable weight, it drapes across the bed and feels comfortable through every season.

A Label Only Six Mills Carry

The mill holds the Belgian Linen label, reserved for just six mills worldwide, guaranteeing European flax woven in Belgium. It also carries the International Masters of Linen certification, which verifies the entire production chain stays in Europe from flax to finished fabric, a standard only 19 weavers on the continent meet.

The Linen Over Time

Laid across the bed, the flat sheet drapes past the edge of the mattress and folds back cleanly at the turn. The linen has a slight texture that grows more supple with each wash, building a softness that belongs to well-kept linen.

ABOUT LIBECO

Since establishing the family’s first weaving mill in the small Belgian town of Meulebeke over 150 years ago, 5 generations of Libeerts have been faithfully and skillfully producing the finest Belgian Linen from Flemish flax. In addition to perfecting the complex aspects of growing, harvesting, spinning, weaving, and finishing Belgian Linen, the company has made conscious efforts to reduce its footprint on the environment. Since 2014, Libeco has been a carbon-neutral company relying instead on the sun and the North Sea’s salty breeze to power the mill.
