Handcrafted Hearth Broom in Wood and Leather

A well-made fireplace broom with black natural fiber bristles bound with a red cord, a wooden handle, and a leather hanging loop. At 3.5" wide and 18" long, the bristles reach into the tight spaces between bricks and stones.

Made by Amish Artisans in Pennsylvania

Each broom is handcrafted by Amish artisans in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. No two come out identical. Built for daily use, the brass hardware and leather loop are made to hold up over years of handling at the hearth.

Beyond the Fireplace

It handles delicate tasks as well as hearth cleaning. Use it to clear soil after repotting or sweep a desk clean. Hang it by the leather loop when not in use. It holds its own as a wall object.

Q&A

What is the diameter of the handle on the fireplace broom and how far does it extend into the broom? I'm a blacksmith and make sets of fireplace tools. Ideally, I'd like to be able to attach a hand forged handle to the broom, to complete a set I'm working on.
Hal, Oh wow! Blacksmith. How did you find Bloomist? Regrettably, I can't answer your questions because we are working remote don't have a sample handy. Did you try contacting the maker FORAGER CO? I bet they can answer your question.
