Libeco Fouta Towel in Belgian Linen

Made in Belgium from 100% linen, the Dakota Stripe is a fouta towel woven with brown and natural stripes and fringe at both ends. The washed finish means it arrives already relaxed, with a drape that softens further with every wash.

What Is a Fouta Towel

A fouta is a flat-woven linen towel with roots in North African and Turkish bath culture. At the beach, it works as a towel and a wrap. At home, it drapes over a sauna bench, a chair back, or the foot of a bed. Linen is naturally absorbent and quick-drying, and grows softer with every wash.

A Label Only Six Mills Carry

The mill behind this towel has been weaving linen in Meulebeke for over 160 years and holds the Belgian Linen label, awarded to just six mills. It also carries the International Masters of Linen certification, ensuring production stays entirely within Europe at every step. The washed finish means the linen arrives already relaxed, with a drape and softness that only deepens with use. Browse more pieces from the Libeco linen collection.
