A brass flower frog sits at the rim of a vase, guiding cuttings, branches, or flowers through openings that hold them in place. Made from solid brass, each piece has a shallow, rounded form that remains visible around the stems. The metal is left unlacquered, allowing its surface to develop a natural patina over time.
Designed for our Ikebana Vase, these frogs give individual stems room to stand apart in a more open composition. They also fit simple Mason jars and the Off-White Novah Pitcher in Large, offering different vessels for arranging flowers and branches. The brass sits visibly at the opening, bringing a warm metallic detail to ceramic or glass.
The single-opening flower arranger is suited to propagating cuttings or forcing bulbs and branches to bloom. For thicker stems, the three-opening ikebana flower frog provides space to arrange branches individually, while the multi-opening design supports flowers and finer botanicals at different angles. Available individually or as a set of three, these brass floral frogs offer several ways to work with seasonal stems. Explore our journal guide for more on using flower frogs.

"Love the way iit helps to showcase each flower"
"The brass frog was heavier than expected (which is a good thing, so that it doesn't shift around as much). The only thing is that it doesn't sit completely in one of my Bloomist Ikebana vases due to the vase's opening not being a perfect circle/shape as the brass frog. Will use the frog for my other vases."
"I am so happy with this purchase. Everything in my Bloomist order is lovely, and the frogs are high quality and a pleasure to use. My arrangements already look better!"
"The Brass Frog was a perfect size and helped display flowers beautifully."
"Beautiful products & quality service!"
"Perfect size for what I was needing. Works great!"
"I have 7 of these. They are all over the house on top of different vessels and can be switched depending on what is needed. Besides being so practical, as other reviewers have mentioned, that touch of brass sitting on top adds a touch of class!"
"My brass frog came in Eco friendly packaging and was heavier and more beautiful than I ever imagined. I’m ordering the whole set because flower arranging is just around the corner. Oh! And what a great hostess gift!"
"Not as great a solution as pin frogs, but lovely for help standing up a couple stems when for whatever reason a frog won't do"
"Very heavy, beautifully designed and will be prefect gifts!"
