From fiber to finished product, these soft, cozy, pillows are all natural and completely handmade. Bolivian llama and merino wool is hand shorn, carded, spun, and woven on a traditional loom by skilled Bolivian weavers. The woven textiles are then dyed with local plant and vegetable pigments at the TR Handy workshop in Bordeaux, France, before being cut and sewn into beautiful pillows. These have a tone range of soft turquoise blue with accent greens dyes.
Plant based dyes come from renewable sources that can be harnessed without harming the environment, and are biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-allergic.
