The essence of minimalism, these simple, versatile jars are wheel-thrown by potter Tracie Hervy using a rich red clay, #308 Red Brooklyn Clay to be precise. They are matte terra cotta outside and glazed in Tracie’s signature glossy white inside.
Use them as minimalist vases or kitchen utility jars for things like wooden spoons and pantry items.
Available in Small and Medium.
Tracie Hervy’s signature ceramics combine clean lines and minimal shapes to maximum effect. “All the superfluities have been stripped away to reveal their essence,” she says. Tracie began her work in ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery in New York City and earned her master’s degree in fine arts at the Rhode Island School of Design. (Read more)
