Woven from 100% sustainable hemp and dyed with low impact dyes from European hemp in Lithuania, this duvet cover is the ideal weight for year round use. It's pre-washed for extra softness and is thoughtfully crafted with functional details including twill tape inner ties and sustainably sourced coconut shell buttons. It arrives in its own hemp envelope sack for storage when not in use.

Known for incredible regenerative capabilities, hemp is a low-impact plant whose fibers produce a durable, ultra-breathable weave that’s also super soft. Hemp is also a carbon negative plant, meaning it absorbs more CO2 than it produces. Hemp fibers are naturally moisture wicking and antimicrobial. They’re also 2-3 times longer than linen which results in an even softer fabric, becoming even more soft with each wash.

Hemp fabric is one of the most robust and durable natural textiles and is relatively low in maintenance, getting better with age and proper care.

To ensure that the fabric does not shrink, the machine wash temperature should be 30-40 °C / 85-100 °F.

If necessary, use oxygen-based bleach only on white hemp fabric, don’t bleach colored or natural colored items. Hand-drying hemp fabric will give you the best results if you don’t have such an opportunity - tumble on a low setting. If you don’t like natural waves of fabric, you can iron it on low for a neat look.
