Turn found bits of nature into small sculpture with these Jikoku Wood bases designed by Bloomist. These are perfect for elevating Kokedamas, small pots of herbs or elements of nature or sculpture. Subtle versatility is designed into the blocks with one end that has a recessed cut out (2.75" dia. x 1/4" deep) to support small pots or vases while the other end has slight concave to cradle the bottoms of bowls and the remaining sides are flat. The natural cracks are random and intended.

The blocks are created in two finishes, a pale white wash and the charcoal finish inspired by the centuries old Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban, charring wood, these pieces add natural drama to still lifes. These small blocks are handcrafted by artisans at Atuto in Honduras, exclusively for us.

Available in pale whitewash or burnt charcoal finish.
