These Wood Flowers or “tree ears” are modernist sculptures designed by nature. They grow wild on branches of mature trees in Guatemala, and are harvested from 4 species native to the country’s Pacific coastline.
Before reaching you, these wood flowers are scrubbed free of moss and lichens and the bark is peeled off. They're then left to dry in the sun for a few weeks.
Make a statement with just one or create a conversation with a group of wood flowers.
Please note: Each wood flowers is unique and supplies are limited. Sizing is approximate. (You can't measure nature) and will range in size and shape, as photographed, some have stems and others are are just the flower head.

I recently purchased 3 large wood flowers as a gift for a friend. The bad news is that they are so interesting they will remain on my mantle and the friend must wait. Mother Nature is obviously an amazing sculptor, since the first reaction when someone sees them inevitably is “Who made these?”
