We designed these brass frogs to fit our new Ikebana vases, although they also work with other vases and containers including simple Mason jars. Throw out the non-biodegradable floral foam and add frogs to give all kinds of displays stability.
Use the frog with the large single opening to help propagate your favorite cutting or to force a bulb or a branch to bloom (learn how-to in our journal article). Use the version with 3 openings to create simple Ikebana statements or to accommodate thicker stemmed species. Use the frog with the multiple openings to arrange flowers and botanicals.

The brass frog was heavier than expected (which is a good thing, so that it doesn't shift around as much). The only thing is that it doesn't sit completely in one of my Bloomist Ikebana vases due to the vase's opening not being a perfect circle/shape as the brass frog. Will use the frog for my other vases.

I have 7 of these. They are all over the house on top of different vessels and can be switched depending on what is needed. Besides being so practical, as other reviewers have mentioned, that touch of brass sitting on top adds a touch of class!
