Crafted in Evanston, IL, these vintage inspired set of three mini bud vases are hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel by Julia Finlayson exclusively for Bloomist. Julia uses a dark clay that is then finished with a vintage Pond Green glaze.

Julia Finlayson is a ceramicist who started collecting vintage match strikes about ten years ago. She loved the history, the ritual, and the aesthetic of match strikes, and began experimenting with her own shapes, sizes, and color glazes. A new generation of match strikes and a ceramics business was born!
