Ficus carica 'Mission'
Part of our collection of truly evergreen boughs and branches, this EcoFaux™ Black Fig Branch lets you live in sync with nature all year long. Growing up to 35 feet high and wide, this common variety fig was used in the historic California missions and is prized for its sweet black fruit and ornamental foliage. It’s drought tolerant and resilient making it popular in Mediterranean gardens.
The leaves are made using upcycled fabrics, while the stems and leaf bones are rPE from PET plastic bottles. EcoFaux Fig Branches come in medium and tall and look effective mixed together. The mission fig branches are full and realistic. They’re a little challenging to shape but turned out to be lovely in a large vase. Pricey but worth it.

Authentic in appearance. Unique coloring and other details such as crinkled edges and wormholes. Was a bit disappointed that I can’t seem to shape leaves and the underside tends to show on more of them than I care for.

I bought 2 of the longest stems for my mom’s mantle in 2 tall vases on a narrow mantle. They were perfect! My personal favorite faux plant I own is one with a fig leaf from m*gnolia and these are the exact same manufactured leaves. I was inspired by that plant, so to see these are the same was a great surprise! She just loves them!
