Designed by Bloomist, these simple hand crafted trays are made from local terracotta clay by artisans at the Atuto Group in Honduras exclusively for us. Available in Small, Medium, and Large, each tray is whitewashed by hand after being fired.
We recommend repotting plants from plastic containers into terracotta pots to improve drainage and aeration of the soil.
Studio Planters sold separately. Also available in Greenwash.

Now, he leads the Atuto group in Sabanagrande, Honduras, which produces pieces made from clay, metal, stone, fiber, and wood — including the planters made from local terra-cotta clay that Atuto now produces for Bloomist. Very happy with the tabs on the bottom.
This is one of many of these planters and trays i've purchased from Bloomist; i'm beyond happy with everything received. My plants are happy and thriving, the collection of planters looks gorgeous together and the trays and planters are all so sturdy! I'm really grateful for Bloomist.
I ordered 3 of these trays, they all came carefully packaged. One of them didn’t have the whitewash effect, but it was just as beautiful. I ended up smudging it with a white crayon ;) so now it matches the pot! Overall very nice and highly recommended.
Oh no! But a very cool trick!
