This striking, sculptural grinder for salt, pepper, and spices was designed for Skagerak by Christoffer Harlang, a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. One of his firm’s recent tasks was to assist in building the new visitor center for the old fortress of Hammershus on the Danish island of Bornholm, and the fortress inspired the simple, functional design of this salt and pepper mill. Simply twist the top to grind pepper corns or salt flakes and lift up to refill.
Available in either FSC certified Oak (light) or oiled Teak (dark). Use one as a pepper mill and another as a salt grinder. Sold individually.
