Dried pods of the nigella flower (Nigella damascena)
Also known as "love in a mist," dried nigella features clusters of natural green flower pods with deep burgundy stripes running down the side. A fine, lacy net of green vines (evocative of "mist") surrounds the nigella pods, giving them an eccentric, otherworldly look.
Create a captivating display by arranging flowers in a Slim Stoneware Vase, an Ikebana Vase, or a Terra Cotta Vase by Peter Sheldon (pictured).
One bunch of nigella pods includes approximately 30 stems.

The dried Nigella Pods are beautiful. They are not as Lavendar/purple as they are in the photograph but beautiful. I am opting for dried flowers over fresh for convenience. Fresh flowers are fabulous but require maintenance and replacement. I am hoping these last long enough to make it through spring and summer without having to replace them.

These are absolutely beautiful and well worth buying. I put them in a small vase on a guest room nightstand and they look very welcoming (and Instagram worthy). They arrive tightly bunched so you will need to spread them out a bit and they are quite fragile. But... I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.
