Native to Marrakech, Morocco, tadelakt is an ancient limestone plastering technique and material. Meaning “massage” or “rub” in Arabic, tadelakt is prized for its smooth surface and subtle sheen, and has been used for centuries to coat the walls and baths of traditional Hammams and Moroccan homes.
Moroccan artisans use tadelakt to hand-craft these simple, highly polished vases. We designed these to be perfect for arranging flowers and branches. This is not waterproof. Best to insert a water tight container if using for fresh flowers.
A sturdy green grass with elegant 3 to 4-inch seed pods and a slight tint of blush pink on the pod heads, China Millet adds depth and texture to any arrangement. Grown and harvested by hand on a family farm in Washington State.
Due to the natural state of dried botanicals, variation and breakage may occur. Cut to size as needed. Sizing is approximate. (You can’t measure nature.)
One bunch is approximately 20 stems.
