Native to Marrakech, Morocco, tadelakt is an ancient limestone plastering technique and material. Meaning “massage” or “rub” in Arabic, tadelakt is prized for its smooth surface and waterproof qualities, and has been used for centuries to coat the walls and baths of traditional Hammams and homes.
Moroccan artisans use tadelakt to hand-craft these simple, highly polished bowls. Use them to display beads or tumbleweed, or add a stone frog or metal Kenzan frog and make your next dried or faux Ikebana arrangement.
Materials: ethically sourced lime plaster and olive soap. Not intended for food. Not food safe.
Dimensions: 14”W x 5”H
