MONOLITHIC TADELAKT VASE, BLACK, MEDIUM
Crafted in Morocco, these simple, modernist-inspired Tadelakt vases are hand-thrown using local clay and then “rubbed” with tadelakt, an ancient plastering material made with limestone from the Marrakech Plateau. Tadelakt gives these clean, minimal pieces a uniquely smooth surface and lustrous hand-polished shine.
If using fresh, insert a small container to hold water (not provided.) Pieces are not watertight.
ECOFAUX DOGWOOD BRANCH, BUNCH OF 5, 20.25"L
Also known as the Flowering Dogwood, this species of tree is native to eastern North America. Dogwoods flower from mid-March through May, and after flowering they bear red fruit and scarlet autumn foliage. Native Americans used the aromatic bark and roots as a remedy for malaria and extracted a red dye from the roots.
We designed these in collaboration with author / stylist, Hilary Robertson, and purposely incorporated realistic details of faded leaves and petals, as well as bug holes to capture nature’s nuance.
