Native to China, Tallow berries (Triadica sebifera) were introduced to the United States as an ornamental tree. This simple, EcofauxTM wreath features these beautiful white berries made from RPE (not Styrofoam!) on a handwoven base of natural dried grapevine. Everlasting faux is made to be enjoyed for many years when stored well. Intended for use indoors or on a covered porch away from rain or snow.

I am so pleased with this purchase, I was looking for a wreath for awhile, I wanted something natural but most I found were too small, expensive, or only lasted a short time. I wanted a beautiful faux wreath for our exterior front door that we often leave open so we can look out the all-glass storm door…which means we’d see the wreath all day. AND, I wanted it NOT to be plastic. While up close you can certainly tell that the white tallow berries are artificial, stand back a few feet and you’d never know. Better yet, when the door is closed, the curb appeal is fantastic and adds the perfect natural, rustic charm I wanted for our Colonial front door. It really is lovely.
