Also known as the Flowering Dogwood, this species of tree is native to eastern North America. Dogwoods flower from mid-March through May, and after flowering they bear red fruit and scarlet autumn foliage. Native Americans used the aromatic bark and roots as a remedy for malaria and extracted a red dye from the roots.
We designed these in collaboration with author/stylist, Hilary Robertson, and purposely incorporated realistic details of faded leaves and petals, as well as bug holes to capture nature’s nuance.
Note that stems and flower heads are flexible, and can be cut with strong, heavy-duty clippers. Petals and leaves are made of upcycled fabric from PET plastic bottles, while the stems and leaf bones are bioplastic. These are assembled by hand from ethical producers in China. (Read more)

- bud vase
I bought these thinking they would all fit in a small bud vase, however the spray was much larger than expected. A picture that shows scale would be great for shoppers to see! That being said, I think they are beautiful and well made. I love that they are recycled. I cut them and put them in a different vase and they look wonderful!
Looked very pretty when it got here, but it’s all wrapped up now for Friday. Can’t wait to see it in the vase -next to the real flowers- after she opens it! Thanks for delivering that on time along with the chocolate cosmos which look equally lovely.
