Crafted by a collective of women artisans in the remote mountain village of Aït Tigga, Morocco, our Mosaic Wool Rug is a celebration of Amazigh heritage and intentional design. Once reachable only by trails, the village now supports a thriving weaving community dedicated to preserving age-old techniques.

Each rug is handwoven using 100% sheep’s wool and natural dyes, reflecting a deep connection to place, sustainability, and cultural legacy.

A Modern Mosaic of Texture and Technique

This timeless rug blends two signature Moroccan weaving methods to create a richly layered piece. The Zanafi technique forms the central border, offering symmetry and visual rhythm through its flatwoven, reversible design. Surrounding quadrants are crafted with a low hand-knot method, adding contrast and depth reminiscent of vintage mosaic patterns. The result is a durable, design-forward rug that brings character, warmth, and storytelling to contemporary interiors.
