Native to Marrakech, Morocco, tadelakt is an ancient limestone plastering technique and material. Meaning “massage” or “rub” in Arabic, tadelakt is prized for its smooth surface and subtle sheen, and has been used for centuries to coat the walls and baths of traditional Hammams and Moroccan homes.
Moroccan artisans use tadelakt to hand-craft these simple, highly polished bowls. Use them to display beads or tumbleweed, or add a stone frog or metal Kenzan frog and make your next dried or faux Ikebana arrangement.
Note: Bowls are purely ornamental and not intended for food or water.
