Handwoven from sustainable elephant grass by women weavers in Ghana, these versatile baskets are durable and long-lasting due to the way they’re crafted. To make the grass more pliable, weavers split each fiber lengthwise, then twist strands into a two-ply rope that’s either dyed or left in its natural state. These are crafted from undyed natural straw.
