Also known as the Flowering Dogwood, this species of tree is native to eastern North America. Dogwoods flower from mid-March through May, and after flowering they bear red fruit and scarlet autumn foliage. Native Americans used the aromatic bark and roots as a remedy for malaria and extracted a red dye from the roots.
We designed these in collaboration with author / stylist, Hilary Robertson, and purposely incorporated realistic details of faded leaves and petals, as well as bug holes to capture nature’s nuance.
Note that stems and flower heads are flexible, and can be cut with strong, heavy-duty clippers. Petals and leaves are made of upcycled fabric from PET plastic bottles, while the stems and leaf bones are bioplastic. These are assembled by hand from ethical producers in China. (Read more)

I love my new branches, they fit the space perfectly and look so natural. Thanks Bloomist!
The materials I ordered arrived quickly and well packaged. Everything was high quality and the artificial flowers were very realistic looking. I would happily order again.
The quality and detail make me forget that these are fake.
Haha - love this! We are happy that you like them.
Love the quality and the look!! Bloomist is becoming one of my favorites!!! ❤️️
I have two dogwood stems - one shorter, one longer. I was thinking way ahead when I sent for them. I plan to put them on display after the holidays, when I start to feel winter has gone on long enough and it’s almost time for the real thing to start blooming. I’ll alternate them with real flowers/bouquets. Thank you, Bloomist, for great products!
