White sage (or Salvia apiana) has been used in rituals of purification for thousands of years.
These white sage sticks are organically grown (and certified) and sustainably harvested in the high desert mountains of San Diego County. The sage is wrapped with decorative tie-dyed hemp string.
Light and use as an incense “wand”.
Family owned and operated by Robin Taylor, White Desert Sage is 40-acre ranch where sage grows naturally. In 2008, Robin and his family began cultivating white sage in its native environment and have been creating their own organically grown, sustainably harvested products since.
The farm is far enough from urban areas to have fresh air without pollution, and the water has unique minerals which are required for white sage to thrive; water that originally flushed the roots of desert plants before it became part of the natural aquifers in the region. They mindfully monitor their fields and pluck the plants for optimal growth, taking care to never over harvest.

Arrived in perfect condition
Just what I was looking for.
Perfect size and beautiful scent!
I ordered 6 of these to include with gifts this Christmas and cannot use any of them. They arrived in a poorly packed box, a jumble of loose string and crumbling leaves. Very disappointing.
Hello Sara, Oh no I am sorry to hear that! I am more than happy to replace them for you. Let us know how you would like to proceed. Thank you, Candice
I’ve only read about burning sage in the home but never tried it. With all of the strange energy going on in 2020 I decided to try new things. Packaging is always A+ with this company. All of my purchases have exceeded my expectations. I’m envious of all of the people who get to work for this amazing brand. I feel like as an employee I would be so proud to represent this brand; but back to the sage!. I was worried that I’d have a flaming torch to deal with so I was slightly nervous but prepared. That was not the experience. A gentle ember, some smoke and an herbaceous scent. I made sure to cover each room as I have read and here’s hoping to new energy!
